This summer is looking like our best yet here at Rebel Book Club with both UK and international festivals to get excited about! Plus a curious new lineup of summer nonfiction themes to look forward to each month for Rebel Book Club members.
Let’s get into it…
Part 1: Rebel Festivals 2022
Kicking off our almighty Summer 2022 lineup we have not one, not two, but three kick-ass festivals for you to hang out at! Not only that, we are bursting with excitement to be hosting some of the most inspiring Rebel Authors around…
So what’s it all about?
Lovetrails
Lovetrails Festival offers four days and nights of trail running and outdoor adventures in the Gower Peninsula, with a huge music lineup.
Ben Saul-Garner, our in-house trail runner, will be representing RBC via his incredible collection of nonfiction running reads.
Tickets: All tickets can be purchased via the Lovetrails Festival site.
IdeasFest
IdeasFest is a festival for all disruptors, creatives, change-makers, decision-makers, the curious, and of course, Rebel Readers.
Ben Keene is hosting the Rebel Book Club Stage (no less!) and talking to three huge names in nonfiction:
- Nova Reid: Activist, TED speaker, and author of The Good Ally
- Johann Hari: Author of 3 New York Times best-selling books, including most recently Stolen Focus
- Sophie Morgan: Award-winning disability advocate, Paralympics presenter, and author of Driving Forwards
Tickets: There is currently a 2-4-1 ticket deal on tickets for IdeasFest on their website.
Rebel Book Club members get an additional 10% off that deal. All members can access this exclusive RBC discount code via their members’ newsletters.
Inner State
Inner State Festival is seven days of high vibes and good times – where wellness, music, talks, food, and drink all play together in Dhërmi, Albania.
Rebel Book Club will be joining a huge roster of talent – including Caribou, Laura Mvula, 2ManyDJs, and Erol Alkan – by hosting a campfire conversation with none other than superstar wordsmith, activist, and podcast host, George the Poet.
Tickets: Tickets and accommodation packages can be purchased via the Inner State website below.
Read with us this summer?
Alongside this festival bonanza, we’ll be enjoying monthly nonfiction reads with our club throughout the summer! We’ve got a stellar mix of themes to explore with you over the coming months.
For Londoners, we’ll be mixing up our monthly venues, whilst also returning to the buzz of The Ministry, Borough, and their lovely bar + terrace for bi-monthly meetups followed by a Rebel Book Club social.
