Kickstart Roles at Rebel Book Club



Both roles are fully remote – working online with the team through regular video check-ins, email and messaging. Kickstart employees will be invited to join the monthly community meetups in the cities where we are based but these are not compulsory.

Info about the Kickstart Scheme

Types of Roles:

Content Marketing – focus on reaching a new, younger audience who we can support through channels like tiktok and youtube. Ideally candidate will have built campaigns on these channels already.

Ideal candidate will have built campaigns on social channels with experience editing, designing and distributing content.

Reading Coach – role will be to help our members improve their reading habits by developing a simple set of tools to keep them on track. Ideally candidate would be comfortable using and building with no code tools like Glide, WordPress, Subbly etc…and be interested in behaviour economics as well as community building (non-fiction reading too).

About Rebel Book Club

We are a small education community business (Rebel Book Club) supporting people to become lifelong learners by helping them improve their non-fiction reading habits and connect with like-minded readers online and at regular meet-up events.

Conditions for application:
Aged 16-24 years
Claiming Universal Credit
Available for up 25 hours/week for next 6 months

Kickstart roles are paid a living wage and start in October 2021.
